Stause found a change in heart when she saw that her ex was now remarried, just two years after he filed for divorce. The season kicked off with Stause sitting down with costars Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young, sharing how she felt when she saw the news.

"My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out," she said in a confessional.

She added, "I wish them the best. You know, I think that it actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little bit of closure."

Speaking to her costars, Stause adds that she's doing really well in her career, and ending things with Hartley was probably a blessing in disguise.

"I've never been in a better place in my career," she said to the girls. "I really feel empowered of being a different, a better version of myself than I ever have been, and I feel like I found my voice, and I feel like there's no anger left there because now I realize that's not something I wanted for myself."

Stause, who has also announced her relationship with Jason Oppenheim, says that she's happy for herself to be able to move on. "Once you know something wasn't right, whether it was your decision or not, it's like, now… Out with the old, in with the new," she said.
