Sex Pistols' Johnny Rotten's Battle With Wife's Alzheimer's

Sex Pistols' frontman John Lydon A.K.A. Johnny Rotten has been rocking hard since the '70s and has had one true commitment since then, his wife Nora Forster. He even took legal guardianship of his step-daughter singer Ari Up's 3 children before she passed away from breast cancer in 2010.

The "Anarchy in the UK" singer opened up to the Mirror on Monday that he has become a full-time caregiver for his wife suffering from Alzheimer's. The 64-year old punk rocker said "For me, the real person is still there. That person I love is still there every minute of every day and that is my life. It's unfortunate that she forgets things, well, don't we all?"

The famous punk couple will rock together as long as she needs, Rotten lovingly saying "I suppose her condition is one of like a permanent hangover for her. It gets worse and worse, bits of brain store less and less memory, and then suddenly some bits completely vanish." The two have had a 41-year long marriage and Nora "never ever forgets" Johnny.

Cheeky Johnny even spoke about how the pandemic has not affected the situation "I am under lockdown anyway because I am her full-time carer. I don't need to go out and socialize with buttholes." Eccentric Johnny and Nora have really shown what true love looks like.

We wish the awesome couple all the best.
