Rodgers has been catching a lot of backlash in American media after it was revealed last week that Rodgers wasn't in fact vaccinated against COVID-19, even though he told reporters back in August that he was “immunized” when questioned by the media. Pundits, late night talk shows, and even social media creators were quick to slam Rodgers for his lack of honesty, will many others applauded his decisions and came to his defense.

One of those people who fiercely defends Rodgers is his fiancée, actress Shailene Woodley. Woodley is now defending him against a Daily Mail story that supposedly featured pictures showing the athlete masked up and getting coffee on Monday at a coffee shop in Los Angeles. Woodley took to Instagram to let people know this was definitely not Rodgers in the pictures.

Shailene Woodley Defends Aaron Rodgers

On her Instagram stories, Shailene said: “literally ya’ll need to calm the f— down. this is straight up HILARIOUS - news outlets STILL grasping at straws to disparage aaron. finding random f— men on the streets of la and saying it’s him.” As if she hadn't made her point, Woodley went on specifying why this was clearly not her fiancée writing:

“I know aaron’s body VERY well. first off, his feet, ahem and no offense to this rando dude, are a LOT bigger” and ending it with a wink emoji and arrows pointing at the stranger's feet.

With much of Hollywood heavily campaigning for vaccinations, it's unclear whether or not Rodgers' stance will hurt Woodley's career in any way. The NFL has not yet punished players who aren't vaccinated but many are calling for reform change. Woodley on the other hand is no stranger to backlash, so let's wait and see if this story has any more legs to it!
