The best book never written
Stephen King revealed one of his best ideas over the weekend. On Twitter, fans everywhere were surprised yet also let down, learning about the prospect of a Stephen King novel that would have been told in a first-person perspective of the famous horror icon Jason Voorhees of Friday The 13th.
The Camp Crystal Lake masked character has appeared in 12 films since the original movie was released in 1980.
King shared that the biggest roadblock would have been the legal hoops he would have had to go through in order to produce the book, and said the journey of that would have been so tortuous it gives him "a headache".

"But gosh, shouldn’t someone tell Jason’s side of the story?" King said.
Though the book itself may not ever happen, King did suggest a more feasible idea, sharing the prospect of perhaps a movie.
Jason Blumhouse and his Blumhouse company have produced many notorious horror flicks, including Insidious, Get Out, and The Invisible Man.
Fans everywhere were quick to show their support of the idea, as the mostly mute Voorhees has a unique background, and is often dubbed a "psychotic momma's boy".

Comedian Patton Oswalt was also one to support the idea and joked, "I want this novel RIGHT NOW. Let’s do one of those Ace paperback "doubles.'"
Although it's not probable, it would be one 'killer' book!
