From Miley Cyrus's surprise guests to the mind-blowing halftime show, here are the highlights from the Kansas City Chiefs vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl!

Miley Cyrus' Tailgate Concert

Miley Cyrus headlined the TikTok Tailgate pre-show concert and had a few surprising guests! She brought out music icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts! Miley and Billy started with their rad collaboration "Night Crawling" and transitioned to Idol's '80s smash hit "White Wedding"!

Miley brought down the house with her covers of Toni Basil's "Hey Mickey" (edited to "Hey Miley"), Blondie's "Heart of Glass," and Dolly Parton's "Jolene." Then classic rock star Joan Jett joined for the pair to perform "Bad Reputation," "Bad Karma," and "I Hate Myself For Loving You."

Miley Cyrus even became emotional before playing her song "The Climb." The emotionally open star said, "I wear a lot of glitter and I wear a lot of armor, but I also wear my heart on my sleeve, and it gets broken a lot." 

H.E.R. Singing "America the Beautiful"

The 23-year-old top-notch talent H.E.R. performed a moving rendition of "America the Beautiful" to start the Super Bowl LV. Not only did she bellow the lyrics but she also played the electric guitar too!

President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden also gave a powerful message thanking the frontline workers fighting the pandemic. 

The Super Bowl LV Halftime show: The Weeknd

Then of course came The Weeknd's impressive halftime show! His performance was visually striking with the gorgeous themes of his latest album After Hours. His backup dancers all wore plastic surgery gauze on their faces and matching red blazers.

He not only played his new songs "Call Out My Name" and TikTok viral song "Blinding Lights" but also some of his original hits like "The Hills," "I Can't Feel My Face," and "Earned It"!

His choreography was impressive and charming and a clearly dedicated performance. According to People, The Weeknd even invested $7 million of his own funds into the show. 

Behind him was a powerful choir intertwined with a city backdrop giving the set an elaborate and giant feel.
