Chris Soules is known as the farmer from Arlington who charmed Bachelorette Andi Dorfman during her season all the way to the final three men. He was however sent home but fans loved him and so as the story goes, he was chosen to be The Bachelor for season 19 of the franchise. Chris' time as The Bachelor ended with him proposing to Whitney Bischoff at his family's barn in Iowa. However, on May 28th, 2015, the couple announced that they had called off their engagement.

After The Bachelor, Chris was cast as a star on the ABC reality show, Dancing With the Stars in 2015. His partner was Witney Carson and halfway through the season he suffered a calf injury and was eliminated on week 8, finishing in 5th place. In September 2015, he appeared on the Food Network show, Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition and was the third person eliminated from the group.

Involved in a fatal car accident

In April 2017, Chris Soules was arrested and charged with "leaving the scene of a fatal accident in Aurora, Iowa." He was not charged with driving under the influence, however on August 23rd, 2019 he was convicted after his guilty plea to "Leaving the Scene of an Accident" and received two years probation. Since then, he has opened up about the accident where 66-year-old Kenny Mosher was killed after his tractor was rear-ended by Soules' truck. "There is not a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could have done more or change the outcome of what happened," Soules told People Magazine.

Chris Soules has yet to find his soulmate

Chris Soules is still active on social media, posting pictures about his life and also pictures with other Bachelor Nation alumni. He seems to be looking towards a brighter future. He is also still single and living on his farm in Iowa.
