Unfortunately, there were many tragedies that took place this year. In early October, Chrissy Teigen shocked fans with the news that she had a miscarriage. She shared her pain with the public and spoke very openly about the traumatic experience she and her husband John Legend were going through. One death that also affected us significantly was that of basketball star Kobe Bryant. The 41-year-old died alongside his 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash.

On a brighter note, exciting baby news came this year from pop superstar Ed Sheeran. Ed and his wife Cherry Seaborn had a daughter in late August. Also in the same very month, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom became parents of their own baby girl. Arguably the most impactful moments of 2020 came during the "Black Lives Matter" protests.
