While many may know Bill Burr as the hilarious creator for F Is For Family, this comedian has also been known to say some pretty offensive things.
In his 2019 Netflix special Paper Tiger, Burr left a bad taste in some mouths when he openly mocked the #MeToo movement and laughed that it went from "no one listening, to too much of an over-correction", before launching off into a rant asking what about the women "that like it rough".
Despite an audience member shutting down the joke and simply stating, "ask for consent", Burr was quick to shut this down as well, before going into another rant of people being "easily triggered", as if asking for consent is some outlandish proposition. He then went into a bit about how "women bullies" are hilarious to him, because how can they think that in the workplace they have standing over him, a man, before going off about male feminists.
Overall, the special made a lot of people frustrated at the obvious sexism that he tried to shluff off as comedy.
