Tyler Hoechlin, "Superman's" Rise To Fame

Tyler Hoechlin was born September 11th, 1987 in Corona, California with a big family. From a very young age, he showed interest in two things, acting, and baseball. He had landed some small roles before he was picked from 2000 auditionees when he was 13 to play "Michael Sullivan Jr." in Road To Perdition alongside Tom Hanks! He even won the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.

Then he played "Martin Brewer" in the hit television show 7th Heaven while still playing competitive baseball in high school and in college. Tyler ended up earning a scholarship to Arizona State University and the University of California, Irvine. He had high hopes for his baseball career, working hard to perfect his skill and even turning down an audition with Francis Ford Coppola and the role of "Emmett Cullen" in the Twilight series. Unfortunately, he injured his hamstring and was unable to continue his baseball career. Fortunately, this gave him more time to act and audition!

Tyler starred in CSI: Miami, Hall Pass, Undrafted, Fifty Shades Freed, Castle, and as werewolf "Derek Hale" in Teen Wolf! Then in 2016, he earned a major role in the Arrowverse as "Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman"! He starred as "Superman" in Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Batwoman, and Legends of Tomorrow! Most recently he's been working on the 2021 series Superman & Lois

Fans love Tyler who won the Teen Choice Award for "Male Scene Stealer" in Teen Wolf. He continues to star in big films like Can You Keep a Secret? with Alexandra Daddario, and Then Came You with Asa Butterfield and Maisie Williams! He also starred in Andy Samberg's film Palm Springs. We can't wait to see what the handsome hunk does next!
