Katy Mixon began her career in the 2005 movie The Quiet, followed a year later by the romcom Blind Dating. Then, in 2008, she had a guest appearance in Emmy-winning series My Name Is Earl. Around this time, Mixon's screen roles really began to take off.

In 2010, Mixon had a guest role on Two and a Half Men. That same year she landed the role of "Victoria Flynn" on the CBS sitcom Mike & Molly.
During her six Mike & Molly seasons, Mixon collaborated on other comedy projects such as Robot Chicken and Psych. And though she's kept busy as a comedic actress, fans and critics agree that her role as "Victoria" on Mike & Molly was one of her funniest.

In 2016, fresh off Mike & Molly's finale, Mixon began starring in the comedy series American Housewife, in which she plays leading lady "Katie Otto." She has received positive reviews for the role and was included in People magazine's list of characters to watch for.
The 39-year-old is married to former athlete Breaux Greer, with whom she has two children: Kingston, born in 2017, and Elektra, born in 2018.
