Born on September 23rd, 1949 in Long Branch, New Jersey, Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, nicknamed "The Boss", is considered to be one of the most talented singers and songwriters of all time! Bruce started his professional career in the mid-'60s when he bought his first guitar at the age of 15.
Bruce Springsteen: A very talented musician
Only a couple of years later, in 1973, Springsteen released his first album called 'Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.' after being signed to Columbia Records in 1972. From that moment on his recognition all over the world has only been growing. Overall, he has released more than 15 albums, which include tracks like "Streets of Philadelphia," "Born in the USA," "Dancing in the Dark," and "Born to Run," among many others.

His songs have been and are still being listened to by many audiences worldwide, and some of his tracks have earned him 20 Grammy awards out of 50 nominations in total. By addressing his working-class and political roots in some of his songs, "The Boss" has sold more than 135 million records worldwide, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists.

Springsteen was named MusiCares person of the year in 2013. From October 3rd, 2017 to December 15th, 2018 "The Boss" performed five days a week in his own show titled 'Springsteen on Broadway' at the Walter Kerr Theatre in New York. In 2016 he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
In 2019 a vinyl version of 'Blinded By The Light's' soundtrack was released. The Gurinder Chadha's film tells the story of a journalist and his love of songs by Bruce Springsteen. Its soundtrack brings together 12 of the main Bruce Springsteen performances of all time. Bruce released his nineteenth studio album in 2019 titled Western Stars.
Regarding his personal life, he has been happily married to American singer and guitarist Patti Scialfa since 1991. They met more than 30 years ago and share three children, Evan, Sam and Jessica!
These days, Springsteen is still touring and going on stage with his E Street Band. Unfortunately, he had to cancel some shows this month due to heath reasons, but he will be back very soon. Their world tour is set to continue into 2024, and fans are already lining up to see them.
