Kanye West is already at work on his follow-up to DONDA.
It turns out Ye's next album will be a sequel that's now being referred to as DONDA 2. According to a close collaborator, he's writing the LP now, and it already has a rumoured lineup of features.
DONDA 2: Kanye West at work on new sequel album
Kanye's GOOD Music colleague Steven Victor has told Complex that the rapper is busy "working on his new masterpiece DONDA 2."
The sequel will follow DONDA, the monstrous 27-track record that finally dropped in the summer of 2021. It was Kanye's 10th studio album.
Kanye was recently seen in studio working with rapper Scarface. Other collaborators expected to feature on the new album include Post Malone and Robin Pecknold from Fleet Foxes.
A timeline on the new album isn't yet known, and the rapper is notorious for releasing records later than planned.
DONDA came out in August and was met with a mixed reception from critics. But some fans hailed it as Kanye's finest work.
