There is a new health update on Prince Charles, and it turns out that Prince Charles, at the age of 71, is quite fit, according to his wife Duchess Camilla. The Duchess of Cornwall, during her first-ever radio guest edit on BBC Radio 5's The Emma Barnett Show, said that her husband is really fit as a fiddle, even after contracting the coronavirus in March.

Duchess Camilla: "He's like a mountain goat"

On the show, Camilla said: "He is probably the fittest man of his age I know. He'll walk and walk and walk. He's like a mountain goat, he leaves everybody miles behind."

But while being in shape (for his age), Charles does NOT join Camilla for Silver Swan ballet classes, which she has been following online: "I did not get him doing a plié, but he is a very, very fit man. But he is not doing ballet," she said.

The health update on the Prince of Wales comes a couple days after he and Camilla have returned to actual physical royal engagements and in-person visits, but the restrictions due to COVID-19 don't make it too easy, according to the Duchess.

"It’s very strange, we went to Gloucester the other day to thanks these wonderful NHS frontline workers," she said. "But I wanted to go up to them and shake their hand and say, 'You’ve done such wonderful job,' but it didn’t feel quite the same standing in my little circle, don’t move left or right. You had to shout thank you, and it’s very different."
