Duchess Camilla (73) is replacing her stepson Prince Harry (36). The Duchess opened the 92nd Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey to honor those who died in World War I. Actually, that has been Prince Harry's job since 2013, however, this year the Duke of Sussex couldn't make it since he now lives in the USA with his wife Duchess Meghan and son Archie.

The Field of Remembrance Memorial, a kind of landscaped garden, is organized every year by the Poppy Factory. They make the "Remembrance Poppies" in memory of those who lost their lives in the wars. These are small artificial poppies that are a symbol of remembrance, especially in Great Britain.
Camilla is the patron of this foundation. On the right side of the lapel, the Duchess wore the "Returning Home" brooch of the Royal British Legion, on the left, she wore the badge of "The Rifles".
With the job of "Colonel-in-Chief" of this infantry regiment, Camilla inherited her father-in-law Prince Philip (99), the Duke of Edinburgh's former role, in July of this year. Since 2013 it was actually Prince Harry who had stood in for his grandfather.
The official Instagram post by the Royal Family mentioned that: "Earlier today, The Duchess of Cornwall officially opened this year’s Field of Remembrance. Her Royal Highness's father was a Captain in the 12th Lancers and saw active service in the Second World War."
