In a new video, Duchess Kate gets up close and personal for a great cause.

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge shared an Instagram video promoting Children's Mental Health Week, which launches on Monday, Feb. 1. To spread the word, she delivered a message on the importance of "expressing yourself," all while speaking outdoors in a selfie video.

In the video, Kate, who is Royal Patron of the event, revealed: "This year's Children's Mental Health Week is all about expressing yourself — that's finding creative ways in which to share your thoughts, ideas, and feelings. So whether that's through photography, through art, through drama, through music, or poetry, it's about finding those things that makes you feel good about yourself," she said, speaking while bundled up on a chilly-looking day outside.

She continued, also emphasizing the importance of mental health for parents at this time. "And whilst it is Children's Mental Health Week, there has never been a more important time to talk about parental wellbeing and mental health too," she continued.

"This is a hugely challenging time for us all, so please look after yourself too," the Duchess added. "Find those ways in which to share your thoughts and your feelings or find someone to talk to, because we really do need to be the very best versions of ourselves for the children in our care."

Prince William and Duchess Kate's children to appear on social media?

The caption on the video, shared to the Kensington Royal social media pages, teased that the Duke and Duchess "look forward to sharing more about this year's theme of expressing yourself throughout the week," so perhaps royal fans should have an eye out for Cambridge children social media cameos in the week to come.

Earlier in the week, the Duchess also spoke with other parents on the challenges they've experienced in lockdown, where she revealed, among other things, that she's become the family hairdresser in recent months. Kate is also just a few months away from her 10th royal anniversary, when it's expected she will receive a new honour from the Queen.
