There is no better way to celebrate the holidays than with a good deed. At least that is how Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle consider it, as they took advantage of the time to announce the first major project in which their Archewell Foundation will be involved. According to a statement taken by Bloomberg, the charity will work in collaboration with chef José Andrés and World Central Kitchen in the construction of four new relief service centers in areas affected by natural disasters.

The charity recently created by Harry and Meghan will reportedly collaborate on the construction of four community kitchens and relief service centers that will provide free meals to people affected by natural disasters in third world countries.

"The health of our communities depends on our ability to connect to our shared humanity," Harry and Meghan said in a statement.

The initiative, which also includes the transformation of these kitchens into schools, clinics, and community centers when they are not necessary, is another action undertaken by the Spanish chef José Andrés to bring food to different areas around the world.

"When we think about Chef Andrés and his incredible team at World Central Kitchen, we’re reminded that even during a year of unimaginable hardship, there are so many amazing people willing — and working tirelessly — to support each other. World Central Kitchen inspires us through compassion in action," the couple noted.

The first community kitchen supported by the Archewell Foundation is expected to be built in Domenica, a Caribbean island hit by hurricanes in 2017. The second, according to Bloomberg, will be built in Puerto Rico.
