Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan could soon be Emmy winners.

Today, the Television Academy unveiled its list of nominees for the 2021 Emmy Awards — and Oprah with Meghan and Harry snagged a big nomination.

Harry and Meghan's Oprah interview gets Emmy nomination

Oprah Winfrey's controversial interview of the Duke and Duchess earned an Emmy nod in the "Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special" category today.

Their special is one of five nominees up for the award, which is in the documentary and nonfiction section. They're up against programs including David Letterman's talk show, Stanley Tucci's Searching for Italy, and Vice.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: 2021 Emmy winners?

The official nomination recognizes Oprah and the producing team, but Harry and Meghan's names aren't present beyond the title. So it's unclear if the Duke and Duchess would receive Emmys or if they'll attend the award ceremony, which airs Sept. 19.
