Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan got poetic during a surprise appearance this week. On Monday, the couple was seen joining a virtual youth poetry workshop — and they looked very comfortable doing so, as Harry wore a white polo shirt and Meghan looked laid-back in a casual top.

Prince Harry & Duchess Meghan surprise a poetry class

In honour of Black History Month, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan dropped in for a video call with a writing course for teenagers organized by the nonprofit Get Lit. The organization shared pictures of the session and the students were seen raving online about their time with Harry and Meghan.

In the screenshot showing the Duke and Duchess with the class, Get Lit wrote: "We've saved the best for last! Guess who surprised our poetry class this weekend?! It was the best weekend EVER! Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were magic and kind and interested in poetry!"

During the 45-minute session—of which there is no video, sadly—Meghan reportedly even shared her favourite poems with the course. The Duke and Duchess appear to have left a strong impression once again. On Get Lit's Instagram page, they wrote: "It goes down as most epic experience in Get Lit history!!!"

Harry and Meghan called in from their new home in Montecito, a community in Santa Barbara, California. A recent survey found that Meghan's reputation continues to decline in the UK, but it appears young Americans are still big fans of the Duchess.
