Rumours were swirling as to why Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor was omitted from the royal line of succession. The implications were vast considering the Sussexes status as royals.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Daughter In Royal Line Of Succession
It has been seven short weeks since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed Lilibet Diana to the world. 2021 has had a big baby boom in the royal family and every new baby was immediately added to the official royal line of succession.
Oddly enough, Lilibet Diana was not included until the media brought attention to it. Buckingham Palace has now fixed their mistake and Lilibet is now 8th in the line of succession after her brother Archie, pushing Prince Andrew to 9th place.
It was believed to be an intentional Commission due to the tensions between the Sussexes and the Palace and the news of Prince Harry's memoir. Prince Harry has maintained a relationship with the Crown and has continued to serve essential royal duties and it is even believed that he would like to have little Lili Diana christened in the UK like her brother was.
Lilibet Diana has yet to meet her royal family, perhaps when travel is safer Harry will be able to bring her to meet her namesake Queen Elizabeth and the rest of her family members who have celebrated her arrival.
