The Global Citizen Live 2021 concert kicked off on Saturday evening, and Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan were among the big names to appear at the show.

For 24 hours, the world's top music stars played concerts in cities such as Paris, London, Seoul, and Rio on a total of seven continents. The Duke and Duchess were part of the New York show, and here's how the appearance went.

At Central Park, Harry and Meghan took the stage while holding hands. They showed affection and solidarity, and the royal couple's love for each other radiated during their time on stage.

At the same time, Harry and Meghan had an important message for their global audience: COVID-19 vaccines must be distributed fairly around the world.

Prince Harry made his point of view clear: "My wife and I believe that where you're born should not dictate your ability to survive." He added: "This is a human rights crisis."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been in New York since Wednesday. The day after, they made a powerful appearance as they met with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Kathy Hochul.
