Meghan Markle and Prince Harry continue to protect their son from the public eye in their new Los Angeles home! As Entertainment Tonight reports, Meghan and Harry have officially filed a lawsuit against the paparazzi that have been circling their home.

Meghan and Harry's lawsuit alleges invasion of privacy

Meghan and Harry decided to take legal action when photos of their son Archie were sold to media outlets. They state in their lawsuit that people took pictures of Archie while he was playing in their backyard. The couple also claims that paparazzi have made use of drones to fly above their property.

While the photographs of Archie have been shopped around, purportedly having been from a family excursion to Malibu, Meghan and Harry set the record straight in their lawsuit. They insisted that the photos in question were taken from their yard, and that they haven't even been to Malibu!

Meghan and Harry's lawyer speaks out in their defense

Meghan and Harry's lawyer, Michael J. Kump, also made a statement in the legal documents the couple filed. "Every individual and family member in California is guaranteed by law the right to privacy in their home," he said. "No drones, helicopters or telephoto lenses can take away that right."

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are filing this lawsuit to protect their young son’s right to privacy in their home without intrusion by photographers," Kump went on to say, "and to uncover and stop those who seek to profit from these illegal actions."

Meghan and Harry requesting photos of son be turned over

Meghan and Harry do not know the identity of whoever has been taking the illegal photos of their son. As Entertainment Tonight mentions, they are seeking information on the buyer and seller through subpoenas and looking for the photos to be relinquished to them. They also want the lawsuit cost, damages, and attorney's fees covered!

While the couple only recently moved to Los Angeles, Meghan and Harry have expressed concern over their safety due to the drone activity surrounding their house. Meghan has also been fighting back against U.K. tabloids, and filed a lawsuit against The Mail on Sunday. Hopefully both of these legal battles will have a positive outcome for Harry and Meghan!
