Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are continuing to help out those in need in the Los Angeles community! As Entertainment Tonight reports, the couple visited Homeboy Industries, an organization that's dedicated to bettering the lives of people who were formerly incarcerated or previously involved in gangs.

Homeboy Industries offers many important services, including counseling, education, legal assistance, addiction recovery support, tattoo removal, job training, and opportunities for employment directly through its 10 social enterprises. During their visit, Harry and Meghan had the chance to experience two of those enterprises— Homeboy Bakery and Homegirl Café.

Harry and Meghan joined "Homies" to prepare food in Bakery and Café

Harry and Meghan worked together with the "Homies," as those in Homeboy Industries' programs are called, to prepare food for the #FeedHOPE program. The program employs Homeboy participants in helping provide meals to youth and seniors struggling with food insecurity because of the coronavirus.

As Entertainment Tonight reveals, Meghan has known the head of the organization, Father Greg Boyle, since she was in high school. She and her mother, Doria Ragland, even took a cooking workshop with him 20 years ago, and Meghan still remembers the tamale recipe she learned back then!
