Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently showed up at a special event in support of one of their new partnerships! As Entertainment Tonight reports, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex participated in Spotify's Stream On event on Monday, where they shared what they hope to accomplish with their podcast, Archewell Audio.

Harry and Meghan want their podcast to be a "safe space"

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's surprise appearance at the Spotify event was especially exciting since it's their first public appearance after announcing some major life changes! Not only did the Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially step down from their royal duties this month, they also shared that they're expecting their second child!

"We made Archewell Audio so that we can make sure to elevate voices that maybe aren't being heard and hear people's stories," Meghan said of their podcast during the event. "And the biggest part of this is to create this community of where you can share," Harry added, "that will encourage everybody else to then share their own vulnerabilities within that safe space."

Meghan wore Oscar de la Renta dress for Spotify event

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle both seemed relaxed in the video, sitting on a couch as they talked about their podcast. As Entertainment Tonight shares, Harry wore a white button-up shirt, while Meghan's gorgeous blue dress was designed by Oscar de la Renta. Called the "Citrus Primavera Peplum Hem Dress," it features a floral and citrus pattern, and is available to purchase for $3,490 USD!

Harry and Meghan's partnership with Spotify was first announced in December, and the couple officially launched the first episode of Archewell Audio just in time for the holidays! Spotify isn't the only major company that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have partnered with while becoming financially independent from the royal family. Back in September, they also signed a production deal with Netflix, which will allow them to create new programs for the streaming service!
