Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have made "healing" their New Year's resolution.

We're now a week into 2021 and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly have big changes on the mind for the year to come. In this month's issue of People, a source close to the couple spoke on their hopes for the New Year—and family is at the heart of their 2021 vision.

According to the close source, Harry and Meghan are "hoping 2021 can be a time of healing not just for the world, but for their family." 2020 was a tumultuous year for the Duke and Duchess and their relations with the Royal Family, following their stepping down as senior royals in March.

Reported tensions have been especially high between Prince Harry and his brother Prince William over this time. However, the source told People, "Family disagreements tend to lose heat with distance and time."

Harry & Meghan visiting the UK soon?

This new report also reinforces that 2021 visits to the UK are likely for the Sussex family, assuming travel is permitted by mid-year. Prince Philip's 100th birthday in June is a saved date on the calendar, and Harry is scheduled to join Prince William in unveiling a statue of Princess Diana in July.

This week, The Mirror also reported that Prince Harry may have travelled to the UK in early 2021 to meet with the Queen regarding the one-year review of his exit deal. But that plan fell through due to new COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Harry and Meghan have settled with Archie in Santa Barbara, California, and are busy at work on podcasting with Spotify and will also debut Netflix content in 2021.
