Today, Hello! reported that Prince Harry will embark on a flight from California to the UK by Monday, April 12. It's a lengthy flight of over 10 hours, and it would get the Duke to his homeland several days ahead of his grandfather's funeral on Saturday.

Duchess Meghan is not making the trip with her husband due to the advanced stage of her pregnancy and the pandemic, a Palace spokesperson announced this weekend. She's expecting the couple's second child and will remain home in Santa Barbara with Archie.

Meghan Markle, who is pregnant, won't attend Prince Philip's funeral due to travel.

According to reports, Prince Harry is also expected to wear only a suit at the funeral for the Duke of Edinburgh. His male family members will likely attend in military uniforms, but Harry is no longer entitled to wear one at formal events after he surrendered his honorary military titles when he stepped away from royal work in February.

Prince Philip dies aged 99 (1921-2021)

It will be Prince Harry's first time in his homeland since March 2020, when he and Duchess Meghan left the UK for North America. He was to return this July for the unveiling of a statue honouring his late mother Princess Diana, but he'll now reunite with his family in the coming days after Prince Philip's passing on April 9.

The Duke was 99 years old. On Friday, Harry and Meghan, who are no longer on social media, paid tribute to Prince Philip on their Archewell website, where they wrote: "Thank you for your service...You will be greatly missed."
