Prince Harry may now live in Los Angeles, California, but he hasn't abandoned his lifelong fandom of British sports.

On Wednesday, the Duke of Sussex, a well-known rugby fan, made a new appearance in an Instagram video that promotes England Rugby's "Pitch In" campaign. The video highlights the efforts of English rugby teams as they host charity events and assist with the processing of food amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prince Harry says "we all miss rugby" in new charity video

"We all miss rugby," Prince Harry says at the beginning of England Rugby's video. All forms of the contact sport were put on hold in the U.K. on March 20 as concerns about the health crisis were on the rise.

"This pandemic might've paused the game," another participant in the video says, "but it hasn't taken away our spirit," Harry says proudly, seen in an outdoor location at his L.A. home. The video is included below.

"When the game was paused, the rugby family came together as one. Thank you from all of us at England Rugby," the organization wrote on its Instagram post about Pitch In.

Over the years, the prince has made many appearances at rugby events. He was even made honorary president of England Rugby last year, according to People. In November 2019, he travelled with the team to the World Cup Final in Yokohama, Japan, where they ultimately lost to South Africa.

Rugby fans were pleased to see Harry's continued involvement with the sport as well. Some of the top comments on the video reflected excitement about the collaboration, even if it was brief.

"Awesome video, so happy you all put Harry in it," the top comment read. "Awesome! Good to see Prince Harry too," another Instagram user wrote.

Rugby is far less popular in North America, but Harry appears committed to keeping alive his connection to the sport.

It's Prince Harry latest appearance following his and Meghan's outing to Homeboy Industries in L.A. earlier this week. Below, Harry and Meghan are seen working away in the kitchen at the social justice organization.
