Prince Harry should feel very at home on his upcoming UK visit.
The Duke will return to his homeland ahead of July 1 to honour the 60th birthday of his late mother Princess Diana. While in the UK, Harry reportedly plans to stay with his cousin Princess Eugenie at Frogmore Cottage, which is actually his former home.
Prince Harry to stay with Princess Eugenie during UK visit
This week, The Sun reported on Prince Harry's plan to lodge at Frogmore Cottage. Princess Eugenie will divide her home so Harry has space to quarantine upon arriving from the US.
The newspaper added that the residence has been preparing for Harry dating back to Monday, so he could be making the trip across the pond very soon. Depending on his travel status, he'll need to self-isolate for either 5 or 10 days when he arrives.
Princess Eugenie lives at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor with her husband Jack Brooksbank and their 4-month-old son August. But the residence will be very familiar to Prince Harry, as it was his and Duchess Meghan's UK home until they moved to North America.
Prince Harry returns to Frogmore Cottage for Diana tribute
Frogmore Cottage is an early 19th-century estate on Home Park in Windsor, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved after their wedding in 2018. Princess Eugenie and her husband relocated to the home in 2020 after the Sussexes left the year prior.
Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie are known to be close, and their bond appears to have survived Harry's recent conflicts with the Royal Family. He also stayed with Eugenie ahead of Prince Philip's funeral in April.
As for the purpose of his visit, the Duke will join his brother Prince William on July 1 at Kensington Palace to unveil a statue of Princess Diana. However, it's expected that Prince Harry will not reconnect with his father Prince Charles on the trip.
