It's family first for Prince William.

Today, the Duke got creative in a video for his Earthshot Prize project. He actually broke out a typewriter to promote a book about the environmentalist prize he founded. But fans were just as interested in a nice family photo spotted in the video...

Prince William displays touching family photo in his office

In the clip, the photo is seen for the first few seconds behind Prince William. It's not too clear, but the picture is most certainly this heartwarming shot of Prince Philip riding a carriage with Prince George.

The picture of Prince George with his great-grandfather was seen for the first time a few days after Prince Philip passed away on April 9. With the photo, Prince William had written a tribute to his grandfather, which said in part:

"I will never take for granted the special memories my children will always have of their great-grandpa coming to collect them in his carriage and seeing for themselves his infectious sense of adventure as well as his mischievous sense of humour!"

And you have to wonder if Prince William chose to film in front of the photo for a reason. His video today came promoting his introduction to a new book on The Earthshot Prize, the environmentalist project he launched in 2020.

With The Earthshot Prize, the Duke will for the next 10 years award annually five winners who are creating solutions to address pressing environmental issues.

He's doing so in an effort to "repair our planet" for future generations, like that of his own children, George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royals likewise remember Prince Philip as a supporter of environmental causes, with Prince Harry even calling him a "conservation champion" earlier this year. So the particular family photo makes sense for The Earthshot Prize video.
