On Wednesday, Prince William visited Belfast in Northern Ireland to mark Emergency Services Day and met with blue light responders during his visit. While talking to a police officer the Duke of Cambridge commented on the fact that school has started again and shared his feelings on the matter.
Prince William: "It's been a long five months"
The proud father of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis said: "I think every parent is breathing a sigh of relief that school has started again." And added: "Five months – it’s been wonderful, but it’s been a long five months," probably speaking for a majority of parents in the United Kingdom.
Prince William's visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday he also discussed pandemic response and mental health and wellbeing with emergency and frontline workers and spoke in praise of the work done by emergency responders and heard how they've adapted to work during the pandemic.
His two children George and Charlotte Meanwhile are back at school at Thomas's Battersea school in London, where Charlotte had her first day of school last year and followed into her older brother George's footsteps. For the past five months, William and his wife Duchess Catherine were homeschooling their kids, and the Duke talked about the homeschooling aspect of the lockdown quite openly back in June.
