Princess Charlene of Monaco has been dealing with health issues for some time now, but a recent surgical procedure will hopefully change this! On Friday, Hello! reported that the royal will be getting operated on in the attempt of fixing her sinus infection.

Princess Charlene to be put under for four-hour operation

Princess Charlene's operation is scheduled to take place August 13, which the Palais Princier revealed in a special statement. The palace also shared that the royal will be "under general anaesthesia" while she is operated on, with the procedure expected to take four hours.

It was not mentioned exactly what Princess Charlene is having done or where the operation will take place. However, the Palais Princier did share that once the procedure has been performed on her, she will be recovering with her husband Prince Albert and their children— Crown Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Princess Charlene has been unable to return to Monaco since May. At that time, she came down with an infection that affected her ear, nose, and throat. In July, she said that it was a "trying time" for her since she couldn't reunite with Prince Albert for their anniversary. Here's hoping that the royal will be on the mend post-op and ready to return home in the near future!
