Princess Charlène of Monaco has caused another stir with her Instagram page. The reason for the commotion isn't what she's been doing, but rather what she hasn't been doing.

Charlène does not follow the Monaco palace on her official Instagram. This is causing irritation for many: Is the princess trying to make a statement about her marriage?

Princess Charlène unfollows the royals on Instagram?

No public love from Princess Charlène for the Monegasque family? The official account of the Palais Princier de Monaco follows the princess on Instagram, but the page is not one of the 69 she follows in return.

Some are viewing it as a possible sign about the marriage of Princess Charlène and Prince Albert, who are the parents of a pair of twins.

There is often talk of a marriage crisis or that Charlène doesn't really want to return to Monaco from Africa. Prince Albert, however, personally bashed these rumours a few weeks ago.

"She didn't leave Monaco in a huff!!" the prince insisted to People magazine. "She didn't leave because she was mad at me or at anybody else," he continued.

"She was going down to South Africa to reassess her Foundation's work down there and to take a little time off with her brother and some friends.

"It was only supposed to be a weeklong, 10-day maximum stay, and [she is still there now] because she had this infection all these medical complications arose."

Charlène has been in Africa since May and has remained there now four months later, following the complications and a medical incident that sent her to hospital last month.
