Princess Eugenie is overjoyed for her sister Princess Beatrice now that she has officially welcomed her first child! On Monday, Buckingham Palace announced that Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have given birth to a baby girl, and Eugenie made a touching Instagram post to celebrate the occasion.
Princess Eugenie writes messages to her sister and new niece
Princess Eugenie shared a sweet photo of Beatrice and Edoardo in front of a waterfall, writing a beautiful caption alongside it. "To my dearest Beabea and Edo," she began, "Congratulations on your new angel." She expressed her excitement about meeting the newest member of the royal family while mentioning how she is "so proud" of her sister. "We're going to have so much fun watching our children grow up," she commented, signing off with the nickname "Euge".
And while she hasn't met Beatrice's baby girl yet, it sounds like Eugenie has had the opportunity to see some pictures of her! The royal also wrote a touching message to her niece, who she said she loves and called "just awesome from the photos." She also referred to herself as an aunt for the first time, ending the note by saying "Love your Auntie Euge" and including several cute emojis!
Princess Eugenie isn't the only member of Beatrice's family to congratulate her on welcoming her baby! Their mother Sarah Ferguson told Hello! UK that she is "over the moon" about her new granddaughter's arrival. Earlier this month, the Duchess of York also wrote a touching letter addressed to both of her daughters, celebrating their journey into motherhood.
