The plans for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee are already being put in place and prepared for. Now we get to see the official emblem!

Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee

The royal family has just revealed the official emblem of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee! Young 19-year-old Edward Roberts created the elegant and modern design that was chosen by a select panel of judges. This gorgeous purple emblem will be featured all throughout the country, in the celebrations, and on merchandise.

The crown design is an uninterrupted line representing the Queen's lengthy reign. It has also been made free for download on their royal website. To celebrate Her Majesty's coronation when she was 25 years old, London will be holding celebrations for the entire weekend from June 2nd to June 25th.

She will attend the Trooping the Colour, live concerts, a Jubilee Lunch, a Jubilee Pageant, and Jubilee beacons will be lit all over the United Kingdom and in UK territories in the Queen's honour. Many are also planting trees in her honor now so they will be visible by the time the celebrations take place!
