Like her grandson, Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth is about to enter the movie business; only she will do it from the comfort of one of her properties. According to The Daily Mail, the British Monarch will open her country home in Sandringham, Norfolk, to the public and transform it into a drive-in movie theater where the public can attend a movie while keeping all the social distancing recommendations in place after the COVID-19 pandemic. This is all we know about the new event!

"Enjoy your favourite movie from the comfort of your car in the wonderful setting of Sandringham Country Park," reads the ad taken by The Daily Mail.

According to the British newspaper, the royal drive-in will open its doors from September 25 to 27 with films such as 1917 (2019), Rocketman (2019), Bohemian Rhapsody (2018), The Greatest Showman (2017), A Star is Born (2018) and Toy Story (1995).

Although privacy has distinguished the Sandringham mansion since Queen Victoria purchased the property in 1862, the Royal House did not hesitate to open it up to the public as a safe space for entertainment after the first wave of disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It should be noted that since the quarantine ended, Queen Elizabeth and her husband, Prince Philip of Edinburgh, have stayed away from Windsor Castle and their property in Norfolk.

Currently, the Queen lives in the quiet castle of Balmoral with a small team of helpers.
