Queen Elizabeth II reportedly has no plans to "stay up and watch" Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah with Meghan and Harry airs today in North America and Monday in the UK, but the Queen will "ignore" the much-discussed interview and focus instead on "the big issues" facing the Royal Family, according to The Sunday Times.

Queen Elizabeth won't watch Oprah with Meghan and Harry

The Times today reported that the Queen doesn't have interest in the "increasingly toxic PR battle with Meghan and Harry" and is looking ahead to a week of work related to "children going back to school [and] the effectiveness of the vaccine programme."

Still, according the report, royal courtiers are angered by the interview, calling it a "circus," and they're prepared to respond fiercely to it. Courtiers reportedly believe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "at war" with the Palace, and they will "come out swinging" with revelations about the couple if they target individuals in the interview.

Countdown to Meghan and Harry's big interview

Oprah with Meghan and Harry airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Monday at 9 p.m. on ITV. Initially a 90-minute interview, the primetime special extended to a full two hours ahead of today's premiere. So far, we've seen three previews, each with increasingly revealing and strong statements made by the Duke and Duchess.

Interest in the interview has only grown, too, after The Times reported this week that aides claim Harry and Meghan bullied royal PAs while working at Kensington Palace in 2018. Through their spokesperson, the Duke and Duchess denied the "defamatory" claims and called it "no coincidence" that royal aides shared the story days before the Oprah interview.

Buckingham Palace confirmed it will investigate the allegations. In turn, the Palace has faced criticism for swiftly announcing this investigation after not doing so when Prince Andrew was accused of sexually abusing a minor and had well-documented connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
