Royal Family Wishes Prince George A Happy Birthday
8 years ago on July 22nd, 2013 the sweet Prince George was born. The heir has been a great joy and has charmed the commonwealth. Not only did his parents Prince William and Kate Middleton share a brand new portrait of his big smile, but his grandfather and great grandmother shared the portrait as well!
Prince Charles wrote alongside the portrait on his Instagram story: "A very Happy Birthday to Prince George!" Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth also shared the same image saying, "Wishing Prince George a very happy 8th birthday today!"
The portrait was taken by Duchess Kate herself at the Cambridges Norfolk home while he was sitting on top of a Land Rover, his great grandfather Prince Philip's favorite car. Prince George has a wonderful relationship with the entire royal family, calling Queen Elizabeth "Gan-Gan" and having a very close relationship with his uncle Prince Harry.
Sweet young George is growing right before our eyes and was even finally old enough to attend the Euro 2020 final with his parents! The public greatly enjoyed the footage of George hugging his parents in celebration when England scored a point.
He is next in line for the throne after his grandfather Prince Charles and his dad Prince William. Happy birthday, Prince George!
