Sarah Ferguson has revealed that she's completely enamoured with Bridgerton! In a new interview with Us Weekly, the Duchess of York talked about her current obsession with the hit Netflix period drama, explaining what made her fall in love with it.

Ferguson says she's "obsessed" with Bridgerton

Ferguson admitted she's such a big fan of Bridgerton, she's even gone and rewatched the series! "I adored Bridgerton so much that I watched it twice, deliberately," the royal shared with Us Weekly. "I'm obsessed with it." She then went on to reveal which character she felt most strongly connected to while watching Bridgerton!

The Duchess of York said she was drawn to Phoebe Dynevor's character "Daphne Bridgerton", explaining that she enjoyed her development as "we see her learning about life" throughout the show. "I love the way she learns to use her strong voice," Ferguson shared. "It chimed with me because now is the time for women to speak up."

Ferguson wants Bridgerton's team to adapt her story

Ferguson also gushed over the show's overall look, saying how she felt that the "costumes and set designs were incredible too." She even revealed that future episodes of Bridgerton might end up being shot close to her "old home"! As Us Weekly mentions, Ferguson was referring to her former residence of Sunninghill Park, which is located in the south of England.

It's not surprising that the Duchess of York is a fan of Bridgerton, given her interest in historical love stories! Ferguson recently announced that she's penned her debut novelHer Heart for a Compass, which is a period romance that drew inspiration from her own royal family history. And as it turns out, she would love to see her own work adapted on-screen by Bridgerton's creative team!
