The Duchess of Cornwall tonight attended a fashion show by @julienmacdonald in support of the National Osteoporosis Society. The charity is dedicated to improving the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. The Duchess became Patron of @osteoporosissoc in 1997, her first official Patronage, before being made President of the charity in 2001. Championing the charity's work is a role very close to HRH's heart, after losing both her Mother and Grandmother to the disease. The event tonight will raise funds to help support @osteoporosissoc's work. PA
A Glamorous Evening
The evening was certainly a glitzy affair, with the showcasing of Julien Macdonald's latest collection and a live auction also being held, all proceeds of which went directly to the charity. The Duchess of Cornwall was pictured with Julien Macdonald, and a posse of striking models.
Camilla isn't the only royal lady to get in on the fashion action of late either, with Princess Charlene of Monaco wowing fans earlier this year with her all-black ensemble at Paris Fashion Week and the Queen posing with fashion royalty Anna Wintour earlier this year in London.
