It was during the '80s when Kate was there for a few years of her childhood, specifically in the capital of the country, Amman. Kate and her family moved to Jordan in May of 1984, when she was two years old. At that time Kate Middleton's father was a British Airways manager in Jordan, which is why the whole family moved there.
