Prince William and Prince Harry made their entrance at the statue ceremony around 4 p.m. last week on July 1. But, that morning, they were reportedly busy sharing memories of their mother in private.

The brothers spent that morning together "looking through old keepsakes, notes from Diana and bonding," a source has revealed to Us Weekly. They then attended the unveiling ceremony late that afternoon.

The new report says the brothers have "started the healing" now after several years of feuding. According to the source, guests at the event were even "thrilled to see how close they were" at the ceremony.

Prince William and Prince Harry were seen lightly chatting, and they jointly uncovered the Diana statue. Harry appeared especially at ease during the reunion.

Ahead of the statue unveiling, Prince Harry had been self-isolating in Windsor and emerged only the day before the event. An earlier Daily Mail report had said that, when Harry arrived in the UK, the brothers broke the ice with texts about England's victory over Germany in a football match.

In a joint statement released on the day of the ceremony, the brothers said of Princess Diana: "Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy."
