Earlier this year, the two royal couples announced their split as they started going in different directions in terms of charity work and they needed to reflect that in different outlets. As of right now, the original foundation is called The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. In July, Meghan and Harry announced their new charity foundation called Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

Both couples will still be involved with Heads Together

The palace said in a statement earlier this year that "both couples will continue to work together on projects in the future, including on The Foundation's mental health program, Heads Together." The statement continued, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are incredibly proud of what they have achieved together through The Royal Foundation. They are especially proud to have established a charity that has had, and will continue to have, significant long-lasting impact, changing lives for the better."

This is a "natural progression"

Royal fans need to look at this split as a "natural progression" and not a break-up. This has nothing to do with the relationship between both royal couples and more to do with the different approaches they are each choosing to take in terms of their charity work. You can see both the Cambridge and Sussex charity work and keep up with all things William & Kate and Harry & Meghan on their official Instagram pages, @Kensingtonroyal and @Sussexroyal
