UK healthcare workers have been getting a special holiday-season greeting from the Cambridge family.

This week, Prince William and Duchess Kate's Christmas card for NHS staff arrived and photos of the new family portrait are circulating online. It's a full family-of-five shot that also comes with a heartfelt message for NHS staff, according to Hello!.

William & Kate pose with the children in Christmas card 2020

In the portrait, William and Kate sit close with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, against a backdrop of split wood. Fans are loving the cozy photo, which captures Louis, the family's youngest, in a moment of joy.

Hello! reports that the card, signed William and Catherine, reads: "To all the amazing NHS staff, Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year. We can never thank you again for all the dedication and sacrifice you have had to make this year. We will be forever grateful."

Another Cambridge family card coming for Christmas 2020?

Online, there's also been some discussion about the card. In 2019, the Duke and Duchess sent a holiday card with a new photo, which was posted by fans ahead of Christmas. But they never officially released the portrait. This led some to believe the family was unhappy about the image getting "leaked" online—as has possibly been the case again this year.

Either way, it remains to be seen if this new portrait will make it to Kensington Palace's social media pages or if the family will send out a different holiday greeting. Earlier this week, the Cambridges also stepped out at the Palladium for a rare outing, during which they walked the red carpet.
