James Cameron

'Avengers: Endgame' has oficially dethroned 'Avatar'

James Cameron Responds to 'Avengers: Endgame' Taking Box Office Record

During the 2019 multi-genre entertainment and comic book international convention Comic-Con, Marvel Studios announced that a new version of Blade is on its way and that Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali will have the starring role, taking over the role of the vampire hunter.

This is not the first time that Mahershala Ali portrays a Marvel character, as he did it previously in the 2016 television series Luke Cage as "Cottonmouth", a villain whose personality was inspired by late rapper Biggie Smalls' attitude. Ali's professional background also includes appearances in films like The Hunger Games-Mockingjay parts 1 and 2, Moonlight, and most recently Green Book.

It's been a long wait but it will finally pay off

The last time we saw "Blade" was in 1998, and it was portrayed by American actor and martial artist Wesley Snipes. Marvel hasn't announced any release date of the upcoming reboot, but we will keep you posted with all the details very soon.
