'American Pickers': Frank Fritz Responds Angrily To Mike's Statement About Him
Frank Fritz is once again speaking out against Mike Wolfe. The American Pickers star has now responded to Mike's kind statement about him, which he called "bulls**t." Here's what Frank had to say this time about his longtime co-star and former friend.
Frank Fritz isn't letting Mike Wolfe have the last word in their public spat.
Last month, things got heated in the American Pickers world, as Frank bashed Mike in an interview and The History Channel confirmed that Frank won't return to the series. Mike then shared a statement wishing his co-star well — but Frank is not happy about it.
Frank Fritz slams American Picker Mike Wolfe's statement
Mike's statement originally said that Frank has "been like a brother to me," and he added: "I will miss Frank, just like all of you, and I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey."
But these comments appear to have set Frank off, as he angrily told The Sun this week: "Mike's statement was bulls**t, somebody wrote it out for him."
He added: "I don't believe in 10 years [Mike has] said five nice things to me, you know? Unless he was cutting somebody else down and we were both laughing."
Frank then returned to the subject that angered him in his first interview — that Mike never called him after he stepped away from American Pickers to get back surgery.
"Mike didn't call me himself, never, like I said – we haven't spoken for two years," Frank said. "That is the 100% truth and I don't like people that lie to people."
He added: "And if [Mike] doesn't like it, then maybe he should have f****** called me. Maybe he should have called and said 'Hey, how's your back doing?'"
Frank Fritz speaks out after Danielle Colby's statement
Frank's reaction to Mike's comments also come after their co-star Danielle Colby appeared to side with Mike amid the American Pickers drama.
This week, she shared a photo with Mike along with a message supporting him. Danielle said that she is "saddened" by what's happened with Frank, but she hopes he "receives all the help he needs to become well after years of being unwell."
