'General Hospital': John Reilly's Daughter and TikTok Star Caitlin Cast On Show

General Hospital is making a tribute to the recently passed star John Reilly a.k.a. "Sean Donely." His daughter, TikTok star Caitlin Reilly will be joining the show!

General Hospital fans have reason to celebrate. The show will be having a special guest as an homage to the recently passed John Reilly.

John Reilly is the beloved soap opera star who starred in the biggest shows like As the World Turns, Kojak, The Love Boat, Silver Spoons, Dallas, Beverly Hills, 90210, Sunset Beach, Passions, and General Hospital. He passed away in January at age 84.

His daughter Caitlin Reilly was the one to break the news to the world about her famous father's passing back in January. The daughter of the soap star is an actress and rising TikTok star herself.

Variety has just announced that as a tribute to John General Hospital has cast Caitlin to play his character's daughter! She will be portraying "Annie Donely," the daughter of "Sean Donely" and "Tiffany Hill" (Sharon Wyatt) who was named after their longtime friend "Anna Devane" (Finola Hughes).

Caitlin has been rising to fame for her hilarious TikTok's portraying various silly characters like "WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) Mom." She has shared on Instagram her excitement to be on the show. She shared the article on her Instagram story and wrote "Going full camp for pops. Beyond grateful."

She told Variety, "Words can't describe how honored I am to be playing my dad's daughter on the show. I grew up on the set of General Hospital, watching him work for years, so it's exciting to dive into a new character in honor of him. He'll absolutely be by my side in spirit on set rooting me on."

"It fills my heart with gratitude to be a part of this tribute to him, and to feel so close to him working on the show he loved so much doing." Her fun and juicy performances will be perfect for the long-running soap! Her first episode will be airing in the spring and we can't wait to see!
