"Danny" is a member of the "T-Birds" and falls in love with "Sandy". The two decide to go together to the school dance competition. But the "T-birds" manage to prevent "Sandy" from coming, so "Danny" has to dance with his ex-girlfriend - and wins! "Sandy" is devastated and "Danny" really wants to win her back and they eventually do end up together and admit their love to each other with the classic song "You're The One That I Want"...
