All TV fans will soon have to say farewell to one of the most popular crime procedural shows of the last decade. It was recently announced that Hawaii Five-0 will end after season 10 on CBS with a two-hour finale.

In an official statement, Alex O'Loughlin ("Steve McGarrett") has expressed his feelings about the cancellation: "This show has been pretty much every waking moment for the last 10 years of my life."
"Everywhere I go on this planet, in every language, I am 'McGarrett' to all these people. What we've done, what we've accomplished, it's extraordinary."
"I can't really put words to express my level of gratitude," he continued. "I'm just glad to have been a part of this, a part of history, and I'm going to miss it. And to the fans, I don't know how to thank you guys. Thank you for following us the way you have. I'm going to miss you. Aloha."
Hawaii Five-0: These characters are returning!
But it is not all sad! TVInsider now reports that fans of the show will get to say goodbye to some 'old friends' during the series finale. For the finale on April 3rd, recurring guest stars "Victor Hesse" (James Marsters, 57), "Wo Fat" (Mark Dacascos, 56) and "John McGarrett" (William Sadler, 69), "Steve's" father, will be returning.

It will hopefully be an epic and exciting finale! "The drama has been a great success for the Studio and Network, and as a global franchise for our company," David Stapf, President of CBS Television studios, said.
"We're pleased to give it a big sendoff and that viewers will have the opportunity to say goodbye to their favorite characters as the final season wraps."
The Hawaii Five-0 series finale will air on Friday, April 3, at 8pm (7central) on CBS!
