What we know so far about the HBO adaptation

HBO's version of Parasite will be based on material that the film's director and writer, Bong Joon-ho, originally created for the film. Bong said that he wrote more content than could fit in a two-hour film, and it will feature in this new HBO adaptation.

Beyond his writing and producing, it is unclear just how involved Bong will be in the direction of the new series. He does have experience in Hollywood with two English language films, Snowpiercer and Okja, under his belt.
