'Modern Family' Cast Reunites For Jesse Tyler Ferguson's Birthday: See The Pics!

Modern Family has had its first reunion since the series concluded earlier in 2020. Over the weekend, four stars got together for Jesse Tyler Ferguson's birthday. Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, and Sarah Hyland joined Ferguson, his husband and their newborn son for the party, which the former co-stars posted all about on Instagram. There was a (partial) Modern Family reunion over the weekend! To celebrate his birthday, Jesse Tyler Ferguson hosted three of his former co-stars for a party with husband Justin Mikita and their newborn son, Beckett.

4 Modern Family cast members reunite in 2020: Pictures

After 11 seasons, Modern Family aired its series finale in April of this year. But four stars have now staged a first mini-reunion for Ferguson's birthday, which they celebrated over the weekend.

Pictured at the actor's party were: Julie Bowen, Sarah Hyland, and Sofia Vergara (with her husband, Joe Manganiello) in addition to Ferguson, the birthday boy, who turned 45 on Thursday. The stars chronicled the event on social media, with Vergara thanking the hosts and writing: "Our first Modern Fam reunion!! Missing half of the gang!!! But so much fun!!!"

On Instagram, Ferguson added another group shot and pictures of gifts he received from his former co-stars. "Celebrating my 45th with some of my favorite people," he wrote. "[Bowen] knit Beckett a hat that I'm going to wear until he can fit into it and [Vergara] gave me a beautiful gold candle that has a very unique shape," he added (in the pictures seen below).

Hyland likewise shared a group photo, writing: "J'adore ma famille." Bowen added, "So amazing to see these people again." In the comments, fans were also surprised by Manganiello's new hairdo—a bleached mohawk.

Ferguson and his husband's son, Beckett, was born in July, and the actor recently shared a new photo of the 3-month-old. On Friday, he also wrote: "My first birthday with this little nugget in my arms," with another picture of his son.

Modern Family ended its hit 11-season run on ABC earlier this year. We'll be looking for more stars, including Ed O'Neill, Eric Stonestreet, and Ty Burrell, at future reunions!
