NBC to Pull ‘The Office’ From Netflix in 2021

NBC has announced that it's pulling its highly successful sitcom from Netflix in 2021. The reason for this is that NBC is creating and launching their own streaming service which will have exclusive rights to the show for five years from then on out. 

This is a pretty tough loss for Netflix as The Office was their most watched show in 2018 bringing in a total of 53 billion streaming minutes last year alone. However, Netflix has assured all subscribers that they can binge-watch the show ad-free until January 2021 on their platform.
